Last weekend, we ventured to Cabrillo National Monument to hike the Old Point Loma Lighthouse and Coast Trail. This 2.7-mile moderate trail offered a fantastic combination of coastal views, historical charm, and wildlife encounters, making for a memorable sunny day adventure.

We began our hike near the historic Old Point Loma Lighthouse, an iconic structure that overlooks the San Diego Bay.
